The autumn season is upon us, and that also brings a new addition to our gorgeous range of magic mirror frames. We recently launched our new disco ball frame at the beautiful Thryburgh Hall, and it did not disappoint. When the colourful lights from the disco and red carpet catches the glitter balls from every angle the frame provides a sparkly addition to any event.

Starting out as just some wood, paint and disco balls, the frame was delicately put together by our in-house creative team.

First, we had to build the wooden frame. Easy you say? Not quite... making the frame took time and precision. Carefully measuring each piece of wood, angling the corners for a flush join and then sanding the whole thing down to make sure no splinters were to be found.

We then painted the frame to ensure the frame would blend nicely into the mirror once placed in front. Finding the correct shade of grey proved a little tricky.

After was then the fun part covering the whole frame in disco balls of all different sizes. We laid them all out and once we realised they wouldn’t stay without being stuck down… who knew the balls would roll! Hahaha! Once we had finished chasing them down the garden picking them all up with a little help from the youngest member of the team. Not sure who had most fun the littlest or Andy… We then just got stuck in gluing them down. We repositioned as we went making sure that the frame looked fabulous from every angle as we wanted a variety of sizes all over.

Once the frame was fully dried, we tried it in front of the mirror and WOW! It looked absolutely fabulous if we do say so ourselves. And obviously you lot agreed. We’ve taken it to a birthday party and wedding so far and it’s booked out for a Christmas event and that’s just this year. We can’t wait to see what next year brings and how many times it will be hired out!

We had so much fun creating this project and are looking forward to the next one.

Keep your eyes PEELED……
